Joey Walters- Managing Director


Joey has over 15 years’ experience and has held multiple management positions.

He has played leading roles in the development and implementation of strategic Human Resource initiatives, which have aligned with core businesses for Carrier Enterprise, BroadGrain Commodities Inc., Trane, Hussmann, Thermo King Canada and Ameresco Canada Inc to name a few.

These programs include sales & operations, organizational structure, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employer branding, succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, real estate, mergers & acquisitions and corporate events.

Joey holds a diploma in Business Administration with a Major in Human Resources from Humber College. He completed his Mini MBA program with McGill in 2015.

Joey holds his Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL), and Human Resources Compensation Committee Certification (H.R.C.C.C.) designations and is currently pursuing his Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation.

Joey has sat on the Board of Directors for PEAC School for Elite Athletes.  He currently sits Board of Directors for Peel Assessment Career Services and the HVAC Advisory Board for Humber College.

Christopher Law –  Consultant


Chris joined the HRPrenuer team in January of 2016. Having held HR positions at RBC Dexia, Kruger Products L.P, Canadian Bearings Ltd, Baxter and Ecclesiastical Insurance, Chris brings a wealth of industry experience with a strong focus on HR process improvement and training and development.

Chris holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) and a Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources (MIRHR) from the University of Toronto.

He also holds his Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL). Chris also recently completed his certification in adult and continuing education and teaching from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Chris has focused on HR Process Improvement, Leadership Training/Coaching, Talent Acquisition and Training & Development throughout his six (6) years in the Human Resources profession.  He possesses a strong curiosity that lends itself well to identifying and solving business problems for business leaders.  His passion lies in helping employees become their best self at work by identifying and closing skill gaps in employee capabilities.

In his spare time, Chris volunteers as a student mentor at the University of Toronto. He also recently held an executive position as Director, HR & Engagement for the Management Alumni Association for the past 5 years.

Chris is an avid cyclist, photographer and food enthusiast.  You will most likely find him at a coffee shop with a new book or two, on his road bike on a downtown trail or strolling through the streets with his camera.
